Data protection – the short version
We do not collect or store any personal data without your knowledge and consent. All of our content presented on the Internet via our website is, on the one hand, exclusively encrypted and, on the other hand, accessible without logging in and thus without the use of technologies such as session cookies.
Usage analyses for the optimization of our website are carried out on the basis of data that do not contain any personal data – e.g. your IP address is directly anonymized for the evaluation and we can no longer establish any reference to you as a visitor to our website.
If you voluntarily provide us with personal data (e.g. by e-mail or by commenting on blog posts), this constitutes consent for us to process and store the personal data required for this purpose.
A transfer to third parties for advertising purposes or a sale of personal data will not take place in principle.

The configuration of our website prevents the persistent storage of log files (so-called log data) on the infrastructure level. For the necessary communication between your computer and our website on the servers of our hoster DomainFactory, no further or persistent storage takes place.

Web analysis tool
This website is based on WordPress. As an analysis tool we use WP Statistics. Personal data (especially the visitor’s IP address) is not stored.
A cookie in its original form is a text file on a computer. It typically contains data about visited web pages, which the web browser stores when browsing the Internet.
If you comment on our blog, you give us permission to collect and process your personal data for the purpose of permanent, revocable display in the blog.
Specifically, these are:
- Your name and first name, entered in the text field “Name”
- Your e-mail address, entered in the “E-mail” text field
- Possible further personal data, entered in the text field “Website”
- Possible further personal data, entered in the free text field “Comments”
We use this data to display comments on the blog. We reserve the right to review comments with illegal or immoral content, to deactivate them and to block or delete them at our own discretion without prior notice.
Your rights of access, rectification, blocking, deletion and objection
You have the right, upon request and free of charge, to request information about the personal data stored by us and/or to request correction, blocking or deletion. Exceptions: It is the mandatory data storage for business processing or the data is subject to the legal obligation to retain.
In order to be able to consider a data block at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a blocking file for control purposes. If there is no legal archiving obligation, you can also request the deletion of the data. Otherwise, we will block the data if you so wish.
Changes to our data protection declaration
In order to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with the current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new data protection statement will then apply the next time you visit our website.
